Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Mark Awantang is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the hand and upper extremity. A former member of the hand and upper extremity surgery team at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, Mark has joined an orthopedics practice in Panama City, FL. A graduate of Wright State School of Medicine in Ohio, Mark was also previously on the medical staff at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV, where he practiced general orthopedics and hand surgery. He joined Southern Orthopedic Specialists, P.A. in 2012 and he is originally from Yaoundé, Cameroon.
